The Intellectual Property Chamber is the functional agency that resolves appeals of processes followed before INDECOPI’s Trademarks, Patents and New Technologies and Copyrights Directorates.
It is made up by five members and among its attributions is the establishment of precedents for obligatory observance through resolutions issued in special cases.
Mission:
To achieve a modern and efficient management of Intellectual Property in order to promote and add value to copyright elements in the market.
Vision:
To establish itself as a functional agency with a high rate of predictability and efficiency, and serve as a model nationwide and abroad.
Mandate:
To review and resolve, as second administrative instance, procedures followed before Copyrights Offices.
